light hunting. 

this year was our first thanksgiving in new york. while i absolutely love celebrating in minneapolis with our families, it was fun to experience something new. i made three dishes- sweet potatoes, green beans and a butternut squash/pomegranate/kale salad. i was particularly proud of the salad- it was easy to make and turned out really beautiful. i got the recipe from here.

here's arona before heading out to her first halloween party. many grandiose ideas were proposed but in the end we used what we had around. i just cut out some numbers from felt and voila! jail baby.

one year ago today i found out i was pregnant- i still can't believe all that waiting is over and she is here! three years ago from today colin and i were married. november 14th is a special day indeed.
